I'm an instructional designer, science librarian, and library leader (although not necessarily in that order!).  Currently, I serve as the Head of Library Learning Services at Penn State University Libraries, which basically means I get to work with a great team to provide vision and direction for our teaching and learning program.  

I'm an INTJ, and my top five StrengthsFinder 2.0 strengths are (1) Input (2) Achiever (3) Learner (4) Competition (5) Significance.  

My research interests include the appropriate use of new and emerging technologies in higher education, instructional design, scholarly communications, library leadership, organizational change, and the history of libraries and information science. 

Outside the library, I still cheer for the Hokies and enjoy visiting new places, practicing yoga, drinking wine, and of course, reading! Check out my current reading list on Goodreads.
